Leading Belgian hosting services provider, Nucleus, has signed a partnership with Eurofiber for the next 20 years.
Nucleus will now use Eurofiber’s Dark fiber network to offer its customers high-performance hosting and cloud services. Eurofiber and Nucleus complement each other perfectly, given that there is no overlap of services between them.
David Geens, managing partner at Nucleus explains the choice for Eurofiber’s Dark fiber network: “Quality and service are tremendously important for Nucleus,” he says. “These are two areas where we identify closely with Eurofiber. Eurofiber is also one of the few providers in the market to offer Dark fiber. The network ensures that we are able to guarantee our customers high-performance access to the cloud at an affordable price. This means that the cloud is a more attractive alternative for on-premise hosting than it was previously.”
Hans Witdouck, CEO of Eurofiber: “Both business and private individuals are communicating more and more. They are also gathering an increasing amount of data. As a result, the need for hosting services and fiber optic infrastructures will continue to climb. With its extensive network coverage, open infrastructure philosophy and the willingness to work with other service-providers, Eurofiber is extremely well placed to contribute to the growth of its customers in Belgium.”[ssbp]
